Marketing Assistant

We have an excellent job opportunity available for a Marketing Assistant in Sheffield.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Marketing Assistant for our client’s busy Marketing Department where you will 

  • Assist with managing the monthly marketing budget ensuring ROI
  • Help to successfully implementing the company Marketing Plan 
  • To contribute effectively to the smooth operation of the Marketing Dept

You’ll need a professional approach to work, with experience in a digital marketing environment, possessing the drive and energy to contribute to a flexible and hardworking team who take a pride in their promotion of the company, contributing to overall performance.

Key Activities

•             Creating, updating and publishing web pages and blogs

•             SEO to improve visibility of web pages on organic search engines

•             Creating, developing and co-ordinating marketing campaigns

•             Manage all paid search engine and paid social advertising content & budget

•             Maintenance and updating of three company websites

•             Conduct regular market reviews and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities

•             Manage and promote company video content (inc. YouTube)

•             Creating quality on brand social media content across all platforms          

•             Overseeing & updating the creative design of digital content & physical copies of flyers / banners

•             Assisting at Shows and Exhibitions including the design of stands and relevant materials and co-ordinating setup and break down

•             General organisation of the marketing dept and marketing products

•             Co-ordinate all company PR activities

•             Attend and contribute to team meetings

•             Any other duties according to the needs of the business

About You

The ideal candidate for the role of Marketing Assistant will have / be :-

  • Able to produce interesting content for a variety of channels.
  • Experience in website and social media content / management
  • Able to produce work of a very high standard within given time constraints
  • Methodical and self-organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Hardworking and have a good attendance and timekeeping record
  • Open to new ideas and make a positive contribution to the team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a digital marketing environment
  • Marketing qualifications
  • An interest or experience in the automotive industry would be advantageous

 

Rewards

In the role of Marketing Assistant you will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week and the benefits are:- 

  • Salary of circa £20,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience

  • 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

 

Some weekend working will be involved in assisting the marketing functions of the business attending shows and events around the country at major race circuits and exhibition locations.

Production Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Production Technician in Sheffield, with experience as a Welder/Fabricator.  You will join our clients’ expanding team of production operatives, TIG welding stainless steel exhausts to the highest standards. 

 

The Role

As Production Technician we are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated person with a Welder/Fabricator background and a professional approach to work.  Primary tasks will be to:

  • Successfully achieve the daily planned production schedule
  • Maintain and strive to improve, production quality
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the workshop 

 

You will need to possess the drive and energy to contribute to a flexible and hardworking team who take a pride in their work and contribute to the overall performance of the Company and the factory environment. 

Key Activities

•             Obtain daily planned work schedule and prepare work station

•             Read through job information for each job

•             Obtain components and jig

•             Refer to master copy for pattern of product & produce parts

•             Record job times and attach job sheet to finished parts in allocated area

•             Clear / prepare work station ready for next job

•             Contribute to continuous improvement by highlighting any areas needed for further development and finding solutions with the team

•             Ensure all Health & Safety rules are adhered to  

•             Ensure working environment is kept clean and tidy

•             Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings

•             Report any faults / system errors as appropriate

•             Participate in performance reviews to enhance self-development

•             Undertake any further training identified and be willing to train others

•             Participate in any improvement programmes introduced

•             Undertake any other duties as allocated and within the parameters of your skills and experience

 

About You

The ideal candidate for the role of Production Technician / Welder / Fabricator will have / be:

 

  • Experienced in TIG welding / Jig work / fabrication 
  • Able to produce work of a very high standard within given time constraints
  • Hardworking and have a good attendance and timekeeping record
  • Open to new ideas and make a positive contribution to the team
  • Experience of small bore pipe welding and stainless steel fabrication would be advantageous

 

Rewards

In the role of Production Technician / Welder / Fabricator you will work Monday to Friday, 43 hours a week and the benefits are:-

 

  • Salary of circa £10 to £13 per hour, depending on experience

  • Free Breakfast once a week
  • 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
