Available Now - Ford Fiesta ST Mk8 Cat Back (GPF Delete) Performance Exhausts

The Ford Fiesta ST Mk8 is a fantastic hot hatch. The shift from a four-cylinder engine in the beloved Mk7.5 ST to a three-cylinder the Mk8 was met with some uncertainty upon launch. But, when Fiesta fans drove the updated pocket rocket, any doubts they had were quickly quelled. Despite being down on capacity and minus one cylinder, the rev-happy 1.5 EcoBoost engine produces more power than its predecessor whilst at the same time, returning better fuel economy thanks to innovations such as Cylinder Deactivation Technology.

However, more stringent emissions regulations forced Ford to fit a GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter) to the Mk8 ST, significantly subduing its exhaust note.

Following on from the success of the GPF Back exhaust system launched in late 2019, Cobra Sport has developed a solution to bring the car to life. They are proud to announce their latest product release for the Mk8 Fiesta ST: a full Cat Back Performance Exhaust system which includes the GPF-Delete section.

This system differentiates itself from the GPF Back variant by including an additional mid section to completely remove the factory-fitted particulate filter. This allows for improved gas-flow, better performance gains and most importantly and a significant improvement in the exhaust tone. A simple ECU reflash will be required at the time of fitting to prevent engine warning lights illuminating.

The bore size of the Cobra Sport exhaust has been increased to 3” (76.2mm), which is unique in the market providing the greatest upgrade in terms of performance, flow rate and sound levels.

The performance exhaust system is made from 3"/76.2mm mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel pipework and comprises of a GPF-delete, mid section and a valved back box which maintains the OEM valve functionality. In addition to this, buyers have the choice of three stylish slash-cut 3.5"/88.9mm tailpipe finishes including Highly Polished Steel, Black Ceramic-Coated (+80) and Carbon Fibre (+140).
