  • Ford Fair 2018 at Silverstone

Ford Fair LogoThe Cobra Team attended the massive Ford Fair show yesterday held at the Silverstone Circuit. The bright and hot day was filled with fast and exotic Fords for everyone to see which as expected attracted a lot of Ford car enthusiasts from all over the United Kingdom and Europe. Silverstone Circuit is the perfect venue for the show due to its size, it's well organised layout and of course the incredible racetrack offering track time to those brave enough to take on the Silverstone National Circuit.

During the event we had three beautiful Fords on our stand showing off their head turning exhaust pitch for the public to witness and enjoy. All three cars where definitely crowd pleasers but, the car which took the spotlight was the Bright Blue Ford Focus RS Mk3 with the combination of its turbo enhanced 2.3 Litre engine and our Venom Cat-Back Exhaust with adjustable valve, it drew a lot of attention and could be heard from a distance during the live sound demonstrations.

A slightly more subtle car but definitely not shy was the Ford Focus ST with a 2.0 Litre Turbo engine fitted with our De-Cat Non Resonated Turbo Back Exhaust. Although not as loud as its RS edition counterpart, the Cobra exhaust produces a pitch perfect tone under load whilst remain discrete when the rev counter is low.

Lastly the smallest car of the group but not the quietest was the 1.6 Turbo Ford Fiesta ST 180 in a unique but stunning molten orange. The gorgeous tone and rumble coming from the Fiesta was courtesy of the Cobra Sport De-Cat Non Resonated Turbo Back exhaust; making fierce crackle and bangs that screamed for the attention it deserves.
