  • Ford Fair 2016 at Silverstone

The large turnout and blue skies generated a real buzz around the circuit with the live show arena and track providing great entertainment matched with an unrivalled collection of Ford tuners and manufacturers in the exhibitors area.

We were pleased to welcome one of our dealers MP Motorsportz onto our stand with their brand new Ford Focus RS (MK3). The Focus RS currently has a non resonated cat back exhaust fitted fresh from our RS development program. The Ford Fair show saw the launch of our new systems for the RS and we were excited to give real life demonstrations of the beautiful deep tone created by the new 3" exhaust systems.

Also on the stand we had the MK3 Focus ST250 fitted with our hugely popular Venom cat back system alongside the MK7 Fiesta ST180 for the first show outing for our recently released ST180 Venom exhaust system. Cobra Sport exhaust technology was prominently displayed on our display stands which featured a variety of Ford systems including our popular ST180 cat back system with the rear box section and new TP76 slash cut tailpipes along with the Venom system for the ST250 and MK2 Focus RS cat back. • VAG Tuner Live 2016 at Donington Park

VAGTunerLive_LogoWe were excited to be exhibiting at the first ever VAG Tuner LIVE show at the Donington Park racetrack last weekend. The show proved to be a great addition to the summer calendar with a large turnout and lots of interest in our ever increasing range of direct fit exhausts for VAG vehicles.

On the stand we had our VW Golf R MK7 on which we trialled a brand new set of round tailpipes. These tailpipes received many positive comments confirming our plans to offer these as an option for our MK7 Golf R performance exhaust systems in the near future. Along with these additional tailpipes we will also be developing a valved exhaust system for the Golf R which makes use of the existing valve motors. This exciting new addition to the range will available towards the end of August.

Also on the stand we had the stunning Audi S5 Coupe fitted with a Cobra Sport 2.5” (63.5mm) cat back sports exhaust system finished with highly polished twin slash cut and angled 3.5" tailpipes. The Audi S5 cat back system has a sound quality which is pitch perfect for this engine and is suitably subtle when idle but under full load the exhaust system really comes to life with an aggressive tone.

The next show in our summer event schedule will be Ford Fair which takes place at Silverstone on the 7th August 2016.

Hopes are high for a successful campaign, building on the early promise shown by the front-wheel drive machine. To celebrate a full time switch to the Audi after two seasons running the Cobra Sport Exhausts sponsored Ford Focus ST, the team have taken inspiration from one of the German manufacturer's most famous liveries..

“We’re pleased to take the covers off the new look Audi and think the end result will stand out on track during the season ahead,” AmD team boss Shaun Hollamby said. “We were keen to go back to our traditional colours this year and we saw the ideal opportunity to incorporate elements of the IMSA Audi livery to celebrate our first full season with the S3."

“Audi has a huge amount of history and heritage in motorsport and whilst we are an independent team, we are proud to celebrate part of that heritage in the livery we have chosen.
