Coronavirus (COVID-19) | Cobra Sport Statement

As a result of COVID-19, we have made our workshop operations safer for our staff allowing us to continue fulfilling website orders and open for exhaust fitting services (please see detailed health and safety information below).

 

We’ve worked hard over the recent months to put in place extra safety measures in our manufacturing facility to ensure staff who want to and are able to, can return to work and feel safe. The social distancing measures that have been implemented are working well within our workshop and we are providing hand sanitiser and hand washing stations to ensure frequent washing of hands.

We’ve limited the number of staff present within the building at any one time to further enhance social distancing between employee and continue to encourage those who can, to work from home. 

We have been keeping up to date with all advice issued by the Government, we have a Coronavirus Risk Assessment in place which is being updated regularly as the situation changes and have been providing extra training for staff on the guidance issued. By implementing the above strategies, we’re confident our staff can work safely and play a vital part in continuing the manufacturing economy.

 

Online Orders

Our website remains active and will be accepting all trade and retail orders as usual. Orders placed on the website are being fulfilled as quickly as possible and our team will do everything they can to keep customers updated on order progress.

Customer Service

Our sales and customer service teams back in the office or working remotely where possible, customer services will continue as normal. In order to offer the best possible service, email is now our preferred method of contact – sales@cobrasport.com

Cleaning and Hygiene

Our on-site team continues to be stringent around hygiene and cleaning regimes including thorough, frequent handwashing.

We have also increased our cleaning on-site, particularly for those areas touched regularly by team members and customers.

Our staff change gloves and wash hands between every vehicle job.

Contact

We are being extra vigilant on personal space and exercising social distancing as much as possible.

You’ll be invited to receive quotations and invoices by email which we would appreciate you accepting to minimise contact.

We've decommissioned the coffee machine in our waiting room until further notice to minimise contact in these areas.

Extra Care is Required On Arrival

On arrival please park in front of our building main doors ring the bell outside our reception door to notify a member of staff at reception of your arrival. Please then remain in your vehicle.

A member of staff will attend to you in order of arrival, discuss your requirements and either confirm the scheduled work or provide a quotation.

Remain in your vehicle until we’re ready to commence work on it.

At which point you can either leave the vehicle with us and return when the work is completed, or wait outside the centre.

If you have travelled a long distance an may require to use our waiting room and toilet facilities, please inform us beforehand so that arrangements can be made. Our building is currently designated as no access for customers and visitors without prior arrangement.

Further guidance will be issued if this is requested.

We ask that only one person per vehicle visits our premises due to current guidance on social distancing.
