VAG Tuner Live 2018 at Donington Park

Cobra Sport attended the popular VAG Tuner Live Car Show at Donington Park on the 8^th of July. VAG Tuner Live has built a reputation as the UK's top performance event for VAG vehicles, displaying over 1000 high performance cars filling out every corner of the Donington paddock making it a fantastic day out for anyone to enjoy.

On the Cobra Sport stand were a trio of high performance Audi & VW vehicles all fitted with Cobra Exhausts. We had a beautiful VW Golf R MK7 fitted with our non resonated cat back performance exhaust alongside a unique R400 bodykit. Also on the stand we had a stunning grey VW Golf GTi MK7  fitted with our hugely popular non resonated cat back exhaust and finished with smart Ceramic Black tailpipes. Lastly the eye catching white Audi S3 on the stand turned some heads, especially with the de-cat turbo back Cobra Sport making a fierce noise during the sound demonstrations.

Alongside the cars on the stand we proudly displayed one of the two current mathcing AmD with Cobra Exhausts Audi S3 BTCC cars in our pit garage area. The Audi competes in the British Touring Car Championship at the highest level of UK motorsport and was by far the fastest car on track. Racing driver Ollie Jackson provided thrilling BTCC passenger rides to our competition winners and VIP's in an experience unrivalled at the show.

The VAG Tuner show is unique with open pit track sessions throughout the day allowing visitors to the show to take a close look at the motorsport engineering close up in the pits but also see the BTCC car in action on the undulating Donington Park national circuit.
