Cobra Sport had a double presence at the VAG Tuner Live show at Donington Park occupying a large space in the paddock with the Cobra events trailer and also a pit garage giving easy access to the track for the AmDTuning with Cobra Exhausts BTCC car.
With the unique open track nature of the VAG Tuner Live show and the timing of the BTCC summer break, we were able to run the Audi S3 British Touring car extensively around the track for our charity passenger rides showcasing the speed and sound created by the race car fitted with a hand built Cobra Sport exhaust system.
On the Cobra Sport stand we had three display cars including the Mk7 VW Golf R fitted with a non resonated cat back sports exhaust system and the Cobra Sport Audi S3 Saloon with a resonated cat back stainless steel exhaust. The third display car fitted with full turbo back performance exhaust system with high flow sports catalyst was a stunning VW Polo GTI 1.4 TSI.
The AmDTuning with Cobra Exhausts Audi S3 British Touring car was one of the main highlights of the show running on the track in amongst and quickly overtaking other high performance Audi, VW and Seat vehicles.
Throughout the summer, we have been taking part in the Mistress Cutler's Challenge raising money for the Sheffield Childrens Hospital and Cavendish Cancer Care. As part of the challenge, Cobra Sport MD Rachel Jarvis-Abbott took part in a sponsored passenger ride in the BTCC car with driver Ollie Jackson around the Donington Park circuit. The winner of our BTCC passenger ride competition (Mike) also experienced a number of high speed passenger laps around the Donington Park circuit.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the challenge, we hope you enjoy the on board footage!
