TCR UK - Dramatic Weekend for Callum Newsham at Knockhill

Round 4 of the TCR UK championship held at Knockhill proved to be a dramatic weekend for Cobra Sport brand ambassador Callum Newsham in his Cobra Sport exhaust equipped Hyundai i30 N.
The weekend started with an excellent recovery drive from the Scotsman as he charged through the pack starting in P17 and battled all the way up to P8 in the first race held on the Saturday.
This superb performance from Callum put Cobra Sport and team JH Racing in high spirits for races two and three held on the Sunday, with Callum lining up on the second row in P3 for the start of the second race and eyes on a podium finish.
However the weekend took a turn for the worst in race two as a competitor collided with Callum's i30 N on the first corner of the very first lap resulting in a black flag due to the damage and an unfortunate DNF result for the young Scotsman.
Team JH Racing worked hard to ensure the i30 N was race ready for the final race of the weekend. Callum had an excellent start putting in lap times on par with the leading TCR racers, despite lacking grip due to the earlier collision. However a competitor's i30 N came alongside Callum in a chicane resulting in the i30 N of Newsham being spun around and the damage resulting in a lengthy pit stop which saw Newsham 5 laps down on the leaders but matching the lap times of the race leaders.
