This MINI JCW performance exhaust is made with a combination of 3" (76.2mm) and 2.5" (63.5mm) pipework and fits from the Secondary Catalyst backward (Cat-back). Offering improvement in terms of exhaust tone, bass and sound level, this exhaust replaces the centre and rear sections whilst keeping the stock catalysts and GPF in place.

Featuring a uniquely designed rear section which accentuates the tone of the 2.0 litre B48 engine and makes full use of the valve functionality, transforming this ordinarily quiet performance model. The exhaust is finished with a selection of 4.5" (114.3mm) tailpipe options including a premium carbon fibre tip option.

Please Note:

This 'Valved' exhaust retains the use of exhaust valve. On this model it operates dependent on throttle input, swapping from quieter to louder tones as before.

Under the skin, the Mk4 JCW its packing the familiar punchy B48 engine, still putting power through the front wheels but now dressed in the latest-gen styling. It’s got the look and the attitude, but from factory, the soundtrack does nothing to match the energy. That’s where Cobra Sport step in.

As always, every system is hand-built in Sheffield by our expert fabricators using premium materials and precision TIG welding techniques. Quality, performance and sound are baked in from the first bend to the final polish.

For the JCW, the team have developed a valved secondary cat back performance exhaust system that integrates seamlessly with the MINI's factory valve setup. It stays fully MOT compliant while delivering the unmistakable Cobra Sport tone that the stock system simply can’t offer.

The system starts with a 3" (76.2mm) non-resonated centre section, giving a noticeable jump in flow compared to the restrictive stock section. Moving towards the rear, the oversized factory back box has been ditched in favour of a unique and sleek oval setup in 2.5” (63.5mm), featuring a small silencer on one side and a straight-through section on the other, controlled by the valve.

Unlike typical drive-mode-dependent valve implementations, the MINI’s valve works purely from throttle input. Push the pedal harder and the valve opens immediately, sending gases straight through for an unleashed JCW soundtrack. Ease off, and it routes back through the silencer to keep things calm in the cabin with no drone.

Round the back, the single factory tip design has been beefed up with a larger 4.5" (114.3mm) tailpipe, matching Mini’s new single-exit style. Customers can choose between three premium stainless steel finish tailpipe or go upmarket with the carbon fibre option.

The new sound is what the JCW owners will be calling out for, on throttle, it barks instantly, lift off, and it tucks itself away without fuss. Whether you're pulling away or cruising, the response is immediate and the tone is rich, sporty and refined. Compared to the standard setup, the difference in character and overall driving feel is night and day.
