The Hyundai Kona N has firmly established itself as one of the most exciting performance compact SUVs on the market, offering a bold and engaging alternative to more traditional hot hatchbacks. At a time when many brands are softening their performance credentials, Hyundai’s N division continues to push the envelope with driver-focused engineering and everyday usability. Building on this strong foundation, Cobra Sport has unveiled its latest performance-developed exhaust systems tailored specifically for the Kona N.

Cobra Sport’s newest addition to their Hyundai range includes a full GPF back exhaust solution engineered to unlock more character, flow, and acoustic presence from the Kona N. The system incorporates a 3-inch T304 stainless steel pipework sections and factory valve integration. For drivers seeking a fully road-compliant setup, Cobra Sport has created the GPF back system shown below.

The GPF back exhaust features a carefully positioned rear back box silencer section that preserves full OEM valve operation. When the valve is open, the system produces a crisp and aggressive soundtrack amplifying the exhaust note, while closing the valve results in a smoother, more restrained tone, ideal for everyday use. Manufactured from premium 3 inch (76.2mm) 304-grade stainless steel and TIG-welded in Sheffield, this exhaust is designed for long-term durability and is supported by Cobra Sport’s lifetime warranty (registration required).

To finish things off, buyers can select from a variety of 5 inch tailpipe designs, including slash-cut stainless steel Jap style tips, inverted options, or inward rolled finishes. Each choice adds visual impact to the rear of the Kona N, enhancing its sporty stance and on the road presence. While the aesthetics and build quality impress, the standout feature remains the sound. The GPF back configuration delivers a balanced yet purposeful exhaust note, making it a perfect upgrade for Kona Ns.
