Easy to install screw in universal O2 sensor spacer designed to remove the oxygen sensor from the gas flow when upgrading the front pipe.
If you fit a de-cat or high flow sports catalyst fitted to your car, you could run the risk of having an engine light turning on. This is due to the fact that the sensor is reading an increase in the CO2 readings from the enhanced gas flow, and would identify this as a fault, and put a warning light on the dashboard.
This lambda sensor extension helps to solve this problem by taking the sensor out of the direct gas flow, thus fooling it into thinking that gas levels are not increased.
Fitting a sensor extender helps to reduce the risk of engine management lights (EML) illuminating when upgrading to a performance exhaust de-cat or sports catalyst.
