Cobra Sport moved into the 2017 show season with a hugely successful weekend at Japfest, europe's largest Japanese tuning show. Silverstone is the perfect venue for the show with the space to accommodate the expanse of car clubs and tuning companies in attendance. The show features a display of over 3500 Japanese cars from the many car clubs from across the UK and Europe along with competitive drifting and high speed track action.
On the bustling Cobra Sport stand were the Honda Civic Type R (FK2) and Mazda MX5 RF (ND) display cars. The Civic Type R brought in the crowds during the hourly sound demonstrations with the non resonated cat back exhaust system providing a pitch perfect soundtrack to the trade area of the show. The Cobra Sport 3 non resonated cat back exhaust system has been a hit with FK2 owners looking for an exhaust upgrade.
We also had our 4" Civic Type R De-Cat on display stands which generated many enquiries from FK2 owner looking for further sound improvements and power upgrade possibilities.
The Japfest show was also the first public display of our the newly developed performance exhaust systems for the Mazda MX5 (ND). The new systems are due to be released in June and will be available in a choice of configurations including a dual and centre exit option to completely change the appearance of the MX5. The dual exit system displayed at the show proved to be triumph with MX5 owners who commented on the transformation of the aesthetics of the car and the way the new system perfectly balanced the existing design features. The Cobra Sport exhaust fitted to the car at the show was the non resonated dual exit exhaust system with second de-cat option.
Now in its second year, the Cobra Sport clothing range again proved to be popular with enthusiasts, many Cobra Sport hoodies and caps could be seen around the show. All of our merchandise is available to purchase online and at all of our events this summer - Cobra Sport Clothing
