Cobra Sport extends long term partnership with Formula G Champion Jonathan Buck Racing

Over the past couple of years, Cobra Sport have enjoyed enormous success sponsoring the Subaru Impreza driven by Jonathan Buck, in his various motorsport escapades in the world of Gymkhana GRiD, competing against big names such as Ken Block and Oliver Solberg.

Cobra Sport are thrilled to announce a renewed partnership with 2018 & 2019 Gymkhana GRiD AWD Pro Am Champion Jonathan “Bucky” Buck for the 2021 Fueltopia and Formula G Championships. "Bucky" is also aiming to keep up his annual appearance in the 2021 World Gymkhana GRiD finals.

For the 2021 season, Jonathan is piloting his all new "CorsaRu". The Subaru-Vauxhall hybrid optimises for better handling thanks to its lighter, more nimble stance, whilst power comes from the legendary Subaru 2.5 litre boxer engine.

Cobra Sport has developed the motorsport performance exhaust solution for the CorsaRu. The full turbo back system improves gas flow, and increases horsepower. The system made in 3"/76.2mm T304 stainless steel pipework and consists of a de-cat. In order to fit the Corsa's single centre exit, Cobra Sport had to develop a custom fabricated triangular tailpipe. The result is a hyper hatch which now has the bark to match the bike.

The full livery for the 2021 season will be launched at the Fueltopia championship event in June!
