Ollie Jackson wins Audi Driver 'Motorsport Personality of the Year'

Popular British Touring Car Driver Ollie Jackson picked up the prestigious Audi Driver 'Motorsport Personality of the Year' award at the annual Audi Driver International award ceremony.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening at the Audi Driver awards dinner held in Swindon as guests of the AmD Tuning team in part to celebrate another successful year of our BTCC partnership. The awards were voted for by readers of the popular Audi Driver magazine and included a selection of drivers from many aspects of european motorsport.

The awards ceremony followed a busy day for the AmD team at the Castle Combe circuit as part of the Audi Driver International show where Ollie gave guests and journalists passenger rides in the Cobra Sport sponsored Audi S3 BTCC car. The appearance of the Audi S3 in amongst the other high performance Audi and VW vehicles proved to be one of the highlights of the show drawing interest from many of the motorsport fans in attendance AmDTuning.com chief

Shaun Hollamby was delighted to see the team rewarded for its performances on track, which also reflected the continued popularity of the BTCC with race fans.

"It's fantastic to see Ollie end the year with this award, particularly when it is one that has been chosen by Audi enthusiasts," he said. "When you consider the calibre of some of the drivers he was up against in Audi's World Endurance Championship and DTM programmes, it's brilliant that his performances in our S3 have gone down so well."
