Car Throttle - Project Z3

Posted by Cobra Sport Admin

This month we had the opportunity to work with the Car Throttle team as part of their 'Project Z3' series where every week, Car Throttle contributor Ethan works on his BMW Z3 project car.

In the video, the Car Throttle team take a closer look at the quality of the TIG welded Cobra Sport exhaust system and compare the sound upgrade of the performance exhaust to the O/E system. As a non-car guy new to the scene, Ethan is tasked with fitting the exhaust to his first project car with only basic equipment.

Make sure to watch till the end to hear the exhaust in action, along with Ethan's fantastic reaction to hearing the Cobra Sport sound for the first time!

The Cobra Sport BMW Z3 cat back performance exhaust is made in 2.25"/57.1mm pipework and fits from the catalytic converter section backwards replacing the centre and rear sections.

The exhaust system is finished with a highly polished stainless steel 4.72" (120mm) x 3.15" (80mm) oval tailpipe to give a sport look to the back of the car.
