We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new GPF-back performance exhaust systems for the Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster models, covering both the 2.0L and 2.5L boxer engines.

This latest addition to the Cobra Sport lineup brings the sound and presence that Porsche fans have been waiting for. While the 718 models are undeniably sharp performers, they’ve often been criticised for their somewhat subdued factory exhaust note. That’s where we come in.

Our new performance exhaust is designed for simplicity and flexibility, with (performance) resonated and (venom) non-resonated options available depending on how much volume you want from your flat-four Porsche. Whether you’re after a more refined daily sound or full-on track-inspired acoustics, there’s a setup to suit your needs.

Buyers also have the option to retain the factory valve control or remove it entirely for a more affordable, always-on performance exhaust sound. Best of all, everything is held together with quick-release V-band clamps, meaning you can purchase and swap components like resonated sections in just minutes, perfect for switching up your setup for long road trips, track days or weekend blasts.

An exhaust upgrade is not just about sound, it’s about presence, too. To finishing things off, the Cobra Sport exhaust system includes our signature 4” Cobra Sport tailpipe options, available in stainless steel, ceramic black, or carbon fibre finishes.

Our exhaust development team have put the system through its paces both in the workshop and out on the road. The resonated setup brings out a more refined version of the boxer engine’s tone, perfect for daily drivers who want just a bit more character without going over the top.

If you're chasing something more aggressive, the non-resonated Venom exhaust system delivers. It unleashes the true personality of the engine while still retaining all emissions components so no worries when MOT time comes around. On the move, the non-resonated system truly shines. There’s a deep, bassy note at low revs and a thrilling roar when you push the throttle. Importantly, there’s no drone or cabin resonance, making it ideal for everyday driving without sacrificing that addictive performance soundtrack.

This Porsche 718 Cat/GPF back performance exhaust is made in 2.5" (63.5mm) pipework and fit from the Catalyst/Gasoline Particulate Filter section backwards (Cat/GPF-back), this exhaust replaces the link pipes and rear sections.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.

The valved system is only compatible with vehicles enabled with PSE from factory.
