Available Now - VW Golf MK7.5 GTI Venom Performance Exhausts

The VW Golf Mk7.5 GTI builds on the success of the previous generation Mk7 GTI. VW have gone to great lengths to make sure that the face-lifted version of their upmarket hot hatch is in every conceivable way including some subtle exterior enhancements, the introduction of the 'Active Image Display' infotainment system and a welcome bump up in horse power and torque.

The GTI's EA888 2.0 TSI engine is still a tuner's dream, however the introduction of a GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter) in the vehicle's exhaust system really limits the aural potential of the power plant.

For those who wish to retain the standard downpipe, whilst still improving the sound and performance of their vehicle, Cobra Sport have developed a solution in the form of their new Venom Performance Exhaust System which fits neatly from the GPF or Cat back.

Precision TIG-welded from T304 stainless steel, this is the loudest possible cat back exhaust system currently offered by Cobra for the Mk7.5 GTI. The 'Venom' exhaust essentially replaces the standard vehicle's back box with beautiful mandrel-bent pipework and ditches the enormous standard centre resonator in favour of a smaller unit to iron out any possible drone that would otherwise be created. Throughout the rev range, Venom-equipped cars are an average of 7db louder than standard, and when fitted with the optional DSG gearbox, emit an enhanced sporty tone on upshifts too.

It is worth noting that this system is also a direct fit application for Mk7.5 GTI's that are not equipped with a GPF from factory.

A range of 4"/101.6mm slash cut tailpipes are available, including highly polished tips, black ceramic coated and carbon fibre tips available (optional extra), all of which really set the rear of the car apart from a standard GTI.
